I got the blender jar quick and it fit perfectly. it was the exact one I broke!
The KitchenAid KSB560 5-Speed Blender is something you should probably consider if you are in the market for a lower cost dependable blender. It is very reasonably priced at under $80 and has some extremely impressive reviews. At Amazon, there are currently over 227 customer reviews that average 4 stars, and over 150 5-star ratings! It is really not that easy to make that many customers happy, this blender must be doing something right.

The KitchenAid KSB560 comes in many colors, including red, black, silver, and orange, and looks kind of retro is some of the colors which is pretty cool. It also has a generous 56-ounce polycarbonate single piece pitcher that comes with a soft grip handle, a drip free spout for easy pouring, and a textured lid with a 2-ounce cap for for easily adding ingredients while mixing. Also, the polycarbonate pitcher is shatter, stain, and scratch resistant that is made to last you very long time while maintaining a fresh clean look. The way that it is shaped actually pushes the blending ingredients toward the spinning blades for a faster and more thorough blend.
The KSB560 has a 0.9 Hp motor, which isn’t really strong when compared to other more expensive blenders, but is plenty strong enough to handle average family blending needs. You will be able to pick from 5 different speeds and pulse for a little additional power if needed. It also has a sensor that will automatically adjust the power to keep the same speed as your blend changes consistency.
I really don’t want to fire up the stove on a hot kitchenaid blender parts day like this, and hummus seems like a good and healthy snack. I have a KitchenAid mixer with quite a few attachments, like whip and knead. Help? I have no food processoor/blender.

This is the 3rd broken blender jar in 6 years (people seem to drop them on occasion), . . . it arrived quickly, was as cheap as we could find price wise, and seened to be as good as the original. No complaints. KitchenAid glass blender jar from – [...]
The replacement KitchenAid glass blender jar is the same as my original and in excellent condition. The price was much lower than any other vendor. Thanks, it saved me having to buy a new blender.
I purchased what I thought was a Kitchenaide glass blender jar.. The very first time I used it, turned it on it tighted up on the jar bottom then just broke all the pieces to Kitchen aid base. VERY UPSET and feel that someone made this replica just alittle to small or large don’t know but Now I have NO blender. And need to go out and purchase another. Again. VERY UPSET. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS!
ThePartsBiz on Amazon description for this Kitchenaid glass blender jar seems to have deceptively provided little or no information so that consumers will be duped into buying a product that will not work for current model blenders. There is a jar picture, but the only description reads “Fits KitchenAid blenders with lid which pops off. Will not fit models with a screw on lid.” OK. While our Kitchenaid blender does have a lid that pops off, this PartsBiz glass blender jar does not come close to fitting. Follow up with PartzBiz has been unproductive so it appears that we are stuck with a worthless glass blender jar. Subsequent information from Kitchenaid suggests this type jar has not been used since 1999. By far our WORST experience ever with an Amazon purchase.
I ordered this on a Saturday evening, about 10pm and chose free shipping. It arrived the following Monday by USPS before Noon. Amazingly fast shipping since the ETA was Wednesday. Amazingly fast shipping ordering from Santa Monica, California.
My grinder came with a plastic plunger that also acts as a wrench to tighten the front down, not the wooden plunger shown in the image. No gripes from me!
If you want the perfect burger and don’t want to hear disgusting stories about what’s in the chopped meat you buy, buy this grinder. Easy to use- we now grind our own burger meat, and WOW what a difference. I know it sounds like a lot of work, but it isn’t. With this grinder, it’s all of maybe fifteen minutes — and when you see what chopped meat SHOULD look like, you’ll never go back to store bought again.
The Kitchen Aid is a great product, and I have owned and used mine for over 30 years. This addition of my new food grinder attachment isn’t used quite so much, but does an incredible job of grinding meat. It sure beats the screw onto the table-top model my mother used and struggled with for so many years.
I decided to purchase this attachment after receiving a Kitchenaid mixer for a housewarming present, this along with the sausage stuffer attachment was going to be part of an experiment to see if it worked better than my Waring Pro countertop sausage grinder.
Assembly of the kit was very easy, the whole set comes in just a few parts which are quite simple to put together and latch onto the machine.
I decided I’d try a chicken/pork smoked sausage to christen this new grinder and see how it went. Well firstly, the issue I ran into was that I had mistakenly put the blades on the wrong way! The meat was coming out as a slimy stringy mess and I was experiencing several clogging issues. This I suppose is a bit of a ding on it’s part as my waring pro, having the exact same blades, included an insert explaining the proper way to mount the cutting blades. The fact that the grinder even allows the blades to be mounted incorrectly is a bit of a downer as well.
Nevertheless, I got the blades mounted properly and what was previously turning into a disaster resolved itself handily. The meat began to grind properly, and I was able to power through 5lbs of pork and chicken rather quickly.
Unfortunately, this grinder proved to have similar problems to my Waring Pro with regards to stuffing. Overall, the Kitchenaid is slightly better than the Waring simply because the Kitchenaid does not grind the meat twice when stuffing it. You can actually remove the grind plate and simply install a feed guide and tube to stuff the sausage. The benefits sadly, end there.
Both suffer feed issues with large amounts of meat, particularly if it was lean with any decent amount of Gristle. The augur simply can’t push the meat efficiently enough, and the plastic plunger they include with the grinder is quite frankly pretty poor with regards to making sure the stuffing gets through efficiently.
I strongly suggest purchasing a seperate Sausage Stuffer device if you plan on regularly making sausage or making more than 5lbs at a time. The feed mechanism with regards to stuffing is so slow and ponderous, it makes stuffing sausages more of a chore than it should be.
These plastic jars just don’t last. I don’t know how this even qualifies as a viable product. We have to replace ours every several months. We don’t do anything abnormal with it. Smoothies mainly, and we use our icemaker to pre-crush the ice for it (since we know it’s so sensitive). It doesn’t take long for cracks to appear, and then come the sticky leaks that get all over the blender and the counter. And, it’s so expensive. Unfortunately, our blender (the KSB-580, which is similar to the 560, I think) doesn’t take the standard glass jar. Big mistake on our part. At some point, I guess, we’ll need to buy a new blender so we don’t have to keep replacing the jar. Argh.
I have to replace this every 3 to 4 years. Dont buy the wrench. You dont need it. Just gently pry off the old one with a screw driver. Its made of soft aluminum and will not hurt the threads on the unit if done gently. Then remove any aluminum burrs the old one left and simply hand tight on the new one. Takes about 1 minute to replace. I believe they are rubber to cause a softer start for the motor. Better this rubber drive then the whole blender motor.
It only took about 3 minutes to change out this part and it worked flawlessly. Very happy with this purchase and the part arrived even sooner than predicted. Would definitely recommend this seller. Thanks!
This is great. I was sure I wouldn’t be able to get the old one to release, but was able to, just like the other posts have said. I didn’t have a narrow enough screwdriver to put through the bottom of the blender, so I used one of those hexagonal screwdriver thingies. You’ll find that you need something that is long enough to stop TWO layers of blades from turning, so you need something narrow enough AND long enough. I was nervous that it would somehow damage the internal blades to do this, because the old coupler was SO resistant to turning, a little rusted, etc. Then I did what L. Bauer said, and whacked what was left of the old coupler with a hammer (my partner had yanked the rubber piece off of it in a previous unsuccessful attempt to replace it, so all that was left was the metal part that forms the base of the coupler and screws it on.) I put a rubber jar opener grippy in between the hammer and the metal part just to protect it a bit. I just whacked it twice, not too hard at all, and it unscrewed to the RIGHT with no effort at all. Screwed the new one on, and it’s good to go. Hooray!
